Top 10 Indians To Follow On Twitter

Twitter, the popular micro-blogging service has started receiving a lot of attention and appreciation in recent times in India when around every brand ambassador, celebrity and politician joined up. According to Sycomos, India has now about 2.3 million users around the country. Today i am going to share with you some Indian tweeps you must follow on twitter.

1. Amit Agarwal 

Amit Agarwal is a blogger and the founder of Digital Inspiration. He has also written columns on personal technology for major publications including The Financial Express, Outlook Magazine, CNN IBN, CNBC TV18 and The Hindustan Times.

Moreover Amit is the author of The Most Useful Websites, a book that discusses the lesser-known useful sites on the web.

Ramesh Srivats is the CEO of TenTenTen Digital Products, He had spent many years in advertising. He spent over 10 years in HTA(now called JWT) and 5 in Rediffusion DY&R(now called Rediffusion Y&R).

Any hashtag to trend in India needs a tweet from him. He is also reffered as master of Puns in the Indian Blogosphere

Joy Das is a funny human being who works in an Ad Agency, lives in bombay, That's what his profile says. He Tweets joke about anything & everything happening in India.

8. Barkha Dutt

Barkha Dutt is a television journalist and columnist. She is currently the group editor with NDTV.She has won many national and international awards, including the Padma Shri. Dutt gained prominence for her reportage of the Kargil War.

Barkha Dutt has been portrayed in the film Lakshya, directed by Farhan Akhtar. Also, the role played by Rani Mukherjee in the film No One Killed Jessica is loosely based on her.

9. Faking News

Faking News is the official account of  www.fakingnews.com, an Indian news satire website. Even though it is the official account, they often tweets jokes about things happening in India, other than their website feeds.

10. SUHEL SETH

Suhel Seth is the Managing Partner of Counselage India. he is a regular speaker at industry meets. Suhel also writes columns in The Financial Times, London and in Business India, The Hindustan Times and The Indian Express on current affairs and the social landscape of India.
